New Worship Service details for 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders!

Starting August 24th all kids in 3rd, 4th & 5th grades will participate in worship throughout the entire service. In order to help out our kids, we have a Worship Book for them to utilize each Sunday. (Individual pages will be available each week at the information booth.)

Kids – bring in your Bible and your book to help you follow along during the service. Takes notes, make comments, and read your Bible as we listen to the Word of God being explained to us each week.

Once the service is over, head to the check station, near the Fellowship Hall. The Checker on duty might ask you a question, see what Scripture was used, or use other inquiries to see if you were paying attention. Then, having provided the desired answers, you’ll receive a ticket. (If you have your book each week, you’ll get an additional ticket.) At the end of each quarter, come to the Chapelgate Kids Store where you can redeem your tickets for prizes. You know you like those nifty gadgets!

As a church, our purpose in worship is to honor the One who makes us, saves us, and redeems us. It is our job to praise him and to listen to what he wants to teach us. It’s a big task, but with the Holy Spirit’s help we can do it. Use the Worship Books as a tool to assist in your learning. Some adults even need to have little note cards to help them pay attention … that might be me!

So, get your Worship Book during Sunday School next week or at the information booth before the services, and let’s worship our great God together!
